Teaching
The modern musician & literate learner
Students receive personalized guidance, an integrative approach, and flexibility in sessions to help cater to individual learning needs. They are provided with the most up-to-date resources to help supplement their learning and are regularly notified of local events, workshops, and other external learning opportunities. It is paramount to me that my students walk away loving learning and feeling confident. I hope to equip them with the proper tools to create their own literary or musical interpretations. My students have attended Iowa’s Creative Writing Workshop, Northwestern University, UCLA, St. John’s School, Blair Academy, and Philips Academy, among others.

Hour-long sessions are standard, but I also offer 30 min/45 min lessons for younger students. Private and group lessons available; discounts offered if more than one student per household receives tutoring. I teach both in-person and online lessons; for in-person, I teach out of my in-home studio, but I am happy to commute to your house for an additional fee. Education equity is of the utmost importance to me - if finances prove to be an issue, please get in touch with me so we can work something out.
